Meet the Team!
MEGAN
Program Director
ECE Level 3
Hello, my name is Megan, and I am a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with over 13 years of experience working with children, particularly those from trauma-affected backgrounds and with additional support needs. I have a strong passion for child development, especially in fostering early connections that support a child's overall wellbeing.
I also hold a university degree in Froebelian practice, which emphasizes community and connections as its core principles.
Working with children is truly my passion. I feel privileged to be part of such a special journey, helping children grow and blossom into the unique individuals they are.
I am a firm believer in outdoor learning and love utilizing natural resources to inspire creativity and imagination. I’m excited to continue this journey with Little Forest Dwellers.
I relocated from Scotland to Canada in April 2023. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature with my husband and our two Dalmatians. I’m also very social and love spending time with friends, creating new memories along the way!
CLEO
Assistant Director
ECE Level 3
My name is Cleo and I am beyond excited to continue my career in early childcare specifically in Outdoor learning. I believe that children are the future of our society. This is the sole reason why I wanted to become an early childhood educator; to guide and influence children through the most important years of their life, by navigating the world as their co-learner.

Outside of my role in the classroom, I spend most of my time outdoors camping, hiking, snowboarding, road biking, and napping on my paddleboard. Because of my love for the rocky mountains, I am a big advocate of taking care of our planet by educating myself and those around me about the differences we can make for the future generations to come.

DEJA
Educator
ECE LEVEL 1
Hi I'm Deja. I’ve been working in child care for two years now. Before that, I spent a year in healthcare but decided to transition into child care because of my passion for working with kids. Currently, I'm a Level 1 but am working towards earning my Level 2 and 3. I truly believe kids teach you something new every day, and they even help you learn more about yourself.
I grew up on a farm just outside Cochrane, and on weekends, you’ll usually find me riding my horse or helping my dad with the farm, especially during the summer.

Hello! My name is Winnie. I have been working with children in a hospital since graduating from university. After continuing to work in an acute hospital and a special school for 16 years, I transitioned to adult education as a part-time teacher. In 2022, my family and I moved from Hong Kong to Canada. We love going on summer road trips and spending quality time with friends. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and engaging in craftwork, such as crochet and knitting. I look forward to discovering nature alongside children and understanding their unique perspectives on the environment.
